Article 208 Title VI, Chapter 6 of the Civil Code of the Philippines

Article 208: The absolute community of property shall be dissolved on any of the grounds specified in Article 175.

 EXPLANATION: 

                  The primary base of the absolute community property is as what is specified in Article 175, for whatever ground is occurred.

             Art. 175. The conjugal partnership of gains terminates:

(1) Upon the death of either spouse;

(2) When there is a decree of legal separation;

(3) When the marriage is annulled;

            (4) In case of judicial separation of property under Article 191.
